Sarah Cox

Sarah and her family moved to Mercer Island in 1997, returning to the island where Sarah’s husband was raised.  One fun fact about Sarah is that her two children attended all of the same Mercer Island schools as their dad (Island Park, IMS and MIHS).  After retiring from the tech industry in 2001, Sarah served on the board of several MI organizations including many of the local PTA’s, the National Charity League and various sports teams and booster clubs.  She held a variety of positions on these boards, but ultimately seemed to always end up as treasurer.  Sarah joined the MICF board in 2015 and is currently on the grants committee, after having served as treasurer for three years. She enjoys being on the board of the MI Community Fund and is proud of its long history of financially supporting the many great organizations that make up our special Mercer Island community.
