In Spring 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic shut down businesses across the county, MICF took the lead to initiate WeLoveMI, a comprehensive emergency campaign to provide immediate financial support to local businesses and non-profit organizations on Mercer Island.

Thanks to many generous donations, WeLoveMI was able to make a significant difference for our local community.

WeLoveMI raised $260,000 in 2 months for COVID-19 Relief, in addition to MI Community Fund Grants of almost $50,000

The WeLoveMI COVID-19 Relief Campaign is an example of a community bonding together to help those most in need.

Mercer Islanders’ generosity during this period was amazing. For all who helped, THANK YOU!

Please check out below all the ways that our local citizens made a difference.
